  These are factory correct seat belts for your `63 Riviera.  As best as I can ascertain ,Cadillac used a similar buckle but ONLY BUICK used the frosted pattern look on their `63 buckles. These are a one model year, one GM division seat belt and VERY hard to find in presentable condition. The belt tag which is still legible shows a Feb 1963 date of manufacture which is consistent with model year application.

  I would rate the condition of these belts as driver qualty. These came from a presentable, running/driving car which was parted due to extensive body rust. One of the female buckles has a prominent spot of corrosion on its face, and there are various spots of corrosion on the anchor plates (mostly the side which is turned toward the carpeting when installed) and one of the male buckle ends. 

  Again, these belts are very, very hard to find, even in driver quality condition. This belt set can be used as is or would be a great set for restoration, rechroming the buckles and anchor plates and rewebbing in the appropriate color.
