1965rivgs Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 (edited) Attach the end of the spring to the rear of the seat frame, not the front. It`s intended to assist with moving the seat forward. The thing dangling under your dash is the tripometer reset and should be mounted in the face of the lower dash in the area where the drivers knee would be.
