Hubert_25-25
Consider if this will get you by temporarily. You may be able to find a tractor hand crank on Ebay and have a machine shop bore it or bush it to match what you need. Hugh
Reinout
Thanks, Hubert. I'll make a socket this weekend to get by for now. If anybody does have a correct hand crank for sale I'd sill like to buy one.
Larry Schramm
I think the crank for the 4 & 6 cylinders are the same.
Hubert_25-25
Hand cranks are different for 4 and 6 cylinder models. If you want to look for or make your own, you can have one made per this drawing. I do not know the specifics of the Master handle, but likely the same. Basically I the 4 cylinder was a nominal 3/4" shaft and the 6 cylinder was 13/16". There is a B model hand crank and later cranks as well, but this covers the bulk of the hand cranks. Reinout
I looked at the one on eBay, but found the measurements somewhat inadequate and those given led me to believe it would require significant modification to use. I built a temporary hand crank from Hugh's instructions and used that to turn the engine over for oiling in prep for winter storage (Thank YOU!, Hugh for the instructions). I'd still like to buy something close to original and correct, if at all possible.
