I looked at the one on eBay, but found the measurements somewhat inadequate and those given led me to believe it would require significant modification to use. I built a temporary hand crank from Hugh's instructions and used that to turn the engine over for oiling in prep for winter storage (Thank YOU!, Hugh for the instructions). I'd still like to buy something close to original and correct, if at all possible.

Thanks, Hubert. I'll make a socket this weekend to get by for now. If anybody does have a correct hand crank for sale I'd sill like to buy one.

Do you have a hand crank that would work on a for a 1916 Buick 45D by chance?

Bought car without hand crank to start car. Electric starter doesn't work. I need to turn the engine over to prep if for winter storage. PLease help. Request picture and price.
