Delco Remy D100 Delco Remy D100P Delco Remy D111 Delco Remy D100H Delco Remy D100HP
JFranklin
I use them in both,. even if there are differences they work ok. I have a TO-30 and a '36 Chevrolet. They work in my Continental engine in a yarder I was given too.
Dave39MD
Gong by memory the P stands for ventilated and H is for a heavy duty spring. Dave
Ferguson Bob
Based on the examples I have, P is for points assembled into a single unit with the movable arm attached to a pivot bushing that fits over the pin on the distributor mounting plate. H may have a heavier spring but the examples I have have larger contacts, a heavy duty arm and a larger diameter brown plastic bushing (possibly phenolic plastic). Really curious what the D-111 which appears to be nearly identical to the D-100?
Dave39MD
That makes sense on the P but I am surprised I can't find a definition of the P. Here is a little info on D111. Dave
