franklinman
Not really wanting to reinvent the wheel here so I’d be Interested to hear what others have tried in the past. I currently have the radiator off my ‘25 Roadster for cleaning and am considering what I might address while it’s apart. The car runs very well and the pump seeps only a little bit. I’ve honestly seen others that were much worse. But I have given thought to pulling the pump and rebuilding it with a new stainless shaft and installing modern seals. Have any others gone this route with an early DB 4 and what were your results?
Mikefit
I rebuilt the pump for my 1918 new ss shaft new bushing and lip seals the seals are very robust compared to the lip seals that are installed in place of the packing . If interested I can walk you through what I did Mike
