Another 16V lost to fire :( (NOT MINE!)

Today I saw a very sad post on Facebook. A gentleman that may join us acquired a 16V Masi car at auction that burnt down in Florida. I am trying to find out the VIN. The pictures make it look like maybe a fuel line, P/S, or turbo oil supply might have been the cause. My bets are on a fuel hose.

Do people think it’s ok to drive around a 30+ year old car on original rubber fuel hose? I don’t understand it.
