Ben Creemers Posted June 15, 2020 Share Posted June 15, 2020 Hi there, I need one conrod for a Pontiac 6 cylinder (208) sidevalve 1935 (same as 36 as far as I’m aware). I bought a wreck of one of these and am trying to restore, tore the motor down and one piston/conrod assembly is missing (for cylinder 6). All the others look to be in good enough shape, the piston I will be replacing with new reproduction Aluminium ones from Performance Direct as the original cast iron ones are pretty worn. If anyone has one of these I would be much appreciative and keen to buy as I cannot source a reproduction con rod and will be somewhat stuck without one. Also, I’m missing the bottom cover for the clutch housing (a pressed steel pan), but if I cannot source one of these I will be able to fabricate one. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
