Guest
I'm new to this forum. Perhaps someone here can help.I have a chrome air cleaner from a dual quad engine. It's 19" in diameter and 3" deep. Here's a blurry picture:http://www.mts.net/~gorby/pics/cleaner.jpgIt looks a lot like a 65 Buick piece but I can't be sure. Could it be something else?It has flattened radius along the top edge closest to the firewall. Is it damaged or is it supposed to be this way?TIA,Davegorby@mts.net

gungeey
That's for a Super Wildcat engine, I believe it fits a few other cars, too...Chevy 409 2x4 comes to mind...looks like a nice one...rust free they fetch about $350 on ebay..if it has a cut hole in the side it would be for a 65 California car. Looks like you are missing the special knurled acorn nut that goes with it...if that's the case let me know via email, i can help you out.
66400
While it may fit a Chevy 409 it is not the correct style for a Chevy.Henry
