Prime 68 Rivv Posted May 2, 2020 Share Posted May 2, 2020 Some People are saying that a 68 riviera hood will fit on riviera years 68-70, my question is, will a 70 riviera hood fit on a 68 riviera? EmTee Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 (edited) I'll say no. It looks to me like the shape of the leading edge (interface with the front bumper) is different. Even if it 'fits', it won't look right... However, if you look closely, there appears to be a filler strip on the leading edge of the '70 hood, soooo maybe... The 55er Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 All 1968, 1969 and 1970 Buick Riviera hoods have the same part number and will interchange. However, they may have different mouldings and trim pieces from year to year. This is a page from the Buick parts book, i posted this yesterday but somewhere it got lost in the shuffle.
