Danielle
Hello everyone. I recently bought a 1951 plymouth cranbrook that I replaced the frame on. The donor frame still had a pedal attached to it with a cable that was cut.. I am guessing it was the emergency brake and cable ? I dont remember removing this cable on my own frame. My manual only showes a picture of the pedal but not the cable. Can someone please help with a diagram of this cable? Where it connects to from both ends please. I have the plymouth service manuel 46-54. . Thank you
Rusty_OToole
Your Plymouth should have a hand brake on the back end of the transmission and a T handle under the dash. I'm not sure how they connect but there may be a lever under the hood. In that case a cable would run from there to the back of the transmission otherwise, right from the end of the T handle.
