highcking
I'm working on a 4-door hardtop 1958 Roadmaster. A couple of years ago I pulled out the front windows and front vent windows (replace broken glass, new cat whiskers, etc.) and I'm now ready to reinstall. Question: should I install the vents first and then the windows, or vice versa? Or does it matter? Bill Luray, VA
Pete Phillips
I usually put the vent window in first, but do not bolt it down or attach it to anything until you have the larger window situated properly in the channel between the two. You have to move the vent window channel around some to get it situated in the side of the larger glass.
highcking
Pete - thanks! That makes a great deal of sense. Bill
