pont35cpe Posted December 27, 2019 Share Posted December 27, 2019 If it`s similar to the 2500-2700 series, spring is connected to the hole in top the rear pivotal arm of hinge, to the notch at the bottom front of the hinge piece that mounts to the body. 2600-2800 series may be different, spring connected to front pivotal arm to a lower bracket between fender and cowel. uscgjason Posted January 15, 2020 Author Share Posted January 15, 2020 It does mount on the body but I'm trying to find out what type of hardware mounts it to the body (nuts, bolt, washers, etc.) and if there are spacers/bushings to fill those holes to keep it in place. pont35cpe Posted January 15, 2020 Share Posted January 15, 2020 (edited) Here is the type of bolt and washer for my `41 2500 series, bolt is 7/16"-20x 1 5/8"(including head).
