mechanician
I know this is a long shot, but let's give it a try. Looking for a type E Locomobile. Any condition considered, including major projects. Does anyone know what happened to the one that sold at Bonhams Greenwich a few years ago?
alsfarms
Is that the car/project, you refer to above, the project that was located in Pa. a few years back? I have not heard of any "E" stuff of late, but you never know what is hiding and will eventually show up. Al
mechanician
No, I don't believe that's the same one you are thinking of. One was sold by Bonhams a few years ago, substantially complete but disassembled. That said, complete and going down the road is good too..
alsfarms
Are you at all familiar with the Pa project? Al
mechanician
Vaguely, if it is the same one I am thinking. What ended up happening with it? It was a few significant pieces short of a car as I recall.

mechanician
Still looking for a type E. Original coachwork strongly preferred, mechanical condition not important. Incidentally, does anyone know what happened with the E that Bonhams sold at the 2016 Simeone sale?
alsfarms
I have not heard anything about the status of the project Model E Locomobile that was auctioned off. It has been rather quiet lately on early Locomobile chain drive stuff. If anyone else has input, please share here. Here is an Internet picture of what Mechanician is after. alsfarms
In this hobby I have learned two things, 1- patience is a virtue, 2- Never say Never! Something will turn up, it just may not be in the time frame you desire. Good luck! Al
