Vince76
I recently picked up a dismantled 1958 Seville. I'm considering parting it out. Or should I sell it as a package? Any thoughts? Jim Skelly
Hi Vince, Without more photos and a more detailed description, it's difficult to say whether it would be better to sell whole or part out. It really depends on how rusty it is. If the roof, quarter panels, floor and trunk pans are in good shape, it's probably better to sell whole. If there is severe rust, there probably isn't much to salvage other than the chassis, wheels and glass. I really like these and have an example of each of the first two generations of the FWD Eldorado.
Vince76
Jim, I appreciate your input. I have parted it out since I first posted it. Now all I have left is mostly the bare body, chassis, and wheels. The floors need patching and the trunk is fair. I have been thinking of cutting off the rear section of the body and scrapping the rest. Vincent
