Thoffs
Looking for a ring seal that fits over the baffle on the heat deflector insert that bolts into the middle top of the exhaust manifold. Please advise where I could purchase one. Edited October 5, 2019 by Thoffs Found and purchased the part. (see edit history)
rbk
If you look up the part number I can check my inventory.
Thoffs
I do not have a parts book or a parts listing for my 1933 Rockne, but I had bought a manifold heater valve gasket from Custom Antique Parts. I believe they are no longer in business do to health reasons. His part number was #510068, I don't know if this was his numbering system or Studebakers. Any help would be appreciated. Thoffs. starlightcoupe
Your Model '10' Rockne is referred to as a Model 31 for parts reference in the Studebaker parts catalogs. Is this what you are looking for? Edited August 11, 2019 by starlightcoupe (see edit history)
Thoffs
Yes it is, gasket is just a ring that slides down over the baffle. Should be approximately 1.625" I.D. X 2.00" O.D. X .060" thick. If you have them I will take two, give me a phone number and I'll call you with a credit card number. Thanks Tim.
starlightcoupe
2 hours ago, Thoffs said: If you have them I will take two, I don't; but, now that we've identified the part as # 510068, perhaps Mr. Kapteyn does. Stephen Allen lists them as well. http://mystudebaker.com/heating-cooling/heat-riser-valves-related-items/
DAVID BABCOCK
I BELIEVE GASKET CITY FROM CANADA HAS THEM. I BOUGHT THE GASKET BELOW IT THAT SEPERATES THE HEATER FROM HIM A WHILE BACK. HIS GASKETS ARE N.O.S.
rbk
I do not have that gasket but Stephan Allen shows them. 510068 is the correct number.
