ThomasBorchers
Hello !I need for my 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 two small freeze plugs. They are located in the cylinder head, close to the valve covers. I see only freeze plug sets for a lot of money but no single ones. I just need these two or three and not a full set for $45.- or so.Thanks for your help.Tom
linas9
You should try your local machine shop, they usually have a good selection of frost plugs and you may not have to buy a whole set.
rocketraider
In Germany odds are all available are metric. Thomas, if you can get us some measurements someone on here may be able to get you some freeze plugs here in the States.

ThomasBorchers
Hello !Sorry for the late answer but I am very busy since we establish a new furniture store.Australia would be no problem... The size is ca. (!) 22.5 to 23 millimeters. This should match your 29/32 inch. Would be great if you could help me. It is pity that I can't send you an Email since you didn't post it here.Or can someone other help me now? Thanks for your help.Tom Edited June 12, 2011 by ThomasBorchers (see edit history)
