ibrake4oldcars
I need the following for a 1934 Commander: -oil filter complete with mounting bracket -the automatic choke linkage to the carb -wiper motors and knobs Thanks for looking.
rbk
You have to be more specific. Part numbers? Pictures? What other cars use the same part in case someone has a parts car of an other year. Very few people have cars like you to know what you need. Most vendors have their parts inventoried by part numbers and have no idea what it is for. ibrake4oldcars
rbk, thanks for your response! rbk
Are these pictures of your engine? I believe the orange oil filter shown is a later unit adapted to that engine. Over the years there have been many discussions about which oil-filter is correct for which engine. If you would be happy with the filter shown , I may have some but won't be able to find these soon because of health problems . ibrake4oldcars
Robert, sorry to hear of your health problems. I hope you recover quickly. No, the pictures are of other peoples cars. My engine is currently on the test stand. I have seen slightly different oil; filters on other 34 Studebakers so I am using my best guess based on an illustration in the parts manual. I was able to find buy an oil filter recently from another member but I am still in need of the other parts. Please look for them when you are able. I appreciate any help. Thanks, John
