user2914o3721
I have a 1971 skylark and my grill (the plastic one) is busted and looking for a new grill. I always loved the 1970 GS center grills and was looking on what I would have to do to get it to fit. I know the bumper is wrong but main thing I am concerned about is it matching up with the hood. Any thoughts? Thanks, Ezzra

joe_padavano
The 1970-72 hoods interchange, however your 71 has a bolt-on extension at the leading edge of the hood that needs to come off and be replaced by a 70 chrome trim strip. The stone shield below the grille also needs to change in addition to the bumper. Google Images is an easy way to find photos to compare.
