Do these fit a Buick

I bought some NOS trunk hinges that were listed as fitting a Senior '38 Packard,  but they don't, the bottom part of the hinge is too long.

 

They were listed as NOS 1937 and 1938 Packard big series or possible Buick trunk hinges. Pair right and left. Part numbers 17771-R and 17771-L.

 

Are those Buick numbers and if so what do they fit?

Those don't appear to be Buick numbers of that same era. Any chance you can post photos of them? Those numbers might be an aftermarket supplier's part numbers. If they fit a 1938 Century, I might be interested.

Could you post a photo that shows the complete hinge, taken from the other side, with a tape measure beside them to be able to see what they look like and how long they are?

I don't know what they fit but they are certainly not for either 1937 or 1938 Buick.
