gdmn852
Anyone use the new rear axle seals from CARS of NJ ?They seem a lot different than the ones that came out . Look to be very tight on bearing race diameter. Thanks
NTX5467
Look closely and see if the new seal's lip is not in the same exact location as the orig seals'. Many times, the orig seals will put a slight groove in the shaft surface they are sealing against, by observation. Many companies now do seals that shift the seal lip away from that groove, for better sealing. Otherwise, the new lip would be in the same location as the orig seal's, which would mean it'll seal for a while, then it'd be no better than the orig (worn) seal's capabilities. Have you contacted CARS to see what they have to say on this deal? Just some thoughts, NTX5467
