DavidMc
This device was part of a small collection of 1920s Packard parts. It's labeled "Tip Top Oiler." I am guessing it's an aftermarket upper cylinder lubricator but it seems to be too small, its only about 4" high. How does it work, what is it missing? oldford
I seem to remember one similar that had a glass bottle with top cylinder oil that was clamped between the cone at the bottom and the round area above it. It was then syphoned using engine vacuum. Frank
DavidMc
It must have needed very frequent topping up with oil because the bowl would have been quite small. Its not much use without the bowl.
