Looking for measurements - 1936 dodge 1/2 ton

spring perch center to center

axle flange to axle flange

Ive read states that 1936 are 59.00 flange to flange, and 1937 are 60 inches from flange to flange

I need a new housing for my LC, and I guy as a 1937 CAR rear axle

unfortunately springs are off right now, so cant tell perch to perch measurement either

The Hollander tells us about axle shafts only.  The '36-38 Com'l 1/2 ton uses an axle that interchanges with

Chrysler '36 6-C7, 8-C8 Airst.

DeSoto ''36

Dodge '36 D2

Dodge 36-38 LC, MC, RC, Com'l

Fargo '36-38 FG1-16, FG1X-16

Plymouth '36 P1, P2

Plymouth '37-38 PT50, 57  1/2T.

The axles are 31.5" long, 1-10 spline. The '37 Dodge car axle is 1-10 and 32.25" long. So, where is the extra length?

Maybe the whole axle housing will interchange... but need the spring perch measurement!
