Steve Hagy
Hi, Instead of posting a photo I'm going to attach a link to the picture in question. I've zoomed in as much as I can on the picture and I believe the radiator badge says "Apex." What do you think? The picture is dated 1922 and from what I just read online 1920-22 were the only years this car was made. My thought is that this is the chief beside his new car. If anyone has knowledge of Apex could you let me know a year and model designation? Would it be correct to call this a roadster? As always, I appreciate your efforts. nzcarnerd
I have a copy of this photo, found on line somewhere. You might have more luck zooming in on the hubcap. The Standard Catalog makes no mention of an Apex car in the 1920s. I think this car is a Stephens. 'Circa 1919-22? See more here -

Steve Hagy
You're right! What I thought was an "EX" on the radiator badge is the "EN" kind of merging together. That hubcap is a dead-on match. Thank you!

Steve Hagy
A great photo, but I suspect that there were still horses around the fire station as suggested by the evidence!
