1914 Buick truck

I know the truck.  It has been for sale for probably 5-10 years.

I talked to the current owner a few years ago he was wanting a fairly big number for it.  I still think that his number is high.  Truck has wrong body for a factory body, no rear fenders, and other value issues.   Might be a good runner, but never know until it is put on the road and had some miles put on it.

I know what similar trucks have been selling for and IMO, that number is not close.  The last public sale of a 1913 Buick truck with the same engine that was in perfect super pristine restored condition went for about $30k including the auction commission.  That car could have been placed on the field of any Concours level car show because it was so well done.

Go down to page 3, posting #73-  75 for pictures of that truck and a write up.

I have seen that one in person.  If I would have had the money, I would have owned this one.

Just one persons opinion.
