Antique Engineer Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Hello Studebaker enthusiasts! I am a new member after I recently bought my first vintage car. It is a 1925 Studebaker Standard Six model ER Sedan. The car is original and in good condition. I just got the old girl running after some minor repairs. When I took her for a short sin around town, I found a vibration at about 30 MPH. The rear rag U joint was shot. I can make one out of modern materials but would like to keep it as close to the way the Studebaker workers made it over 90 years After that comes the real challenge, replacing broken or missing interior parts. Door knobs, pulls, window cranks, lock levers, windshield wiper motor, and upholstery. All help is appreciated. Thanks! 2
ksparks Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 hello, i posted on a studebaker site on FB also to see if someone can help.
Gary_Ash Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Gee, the old girl must have some spirit left in her based on your comment: "When I took her for a short sin around town, I found ..." See this recent post about U-joint and water pump drive disks:

RivieraRon Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 Hi guys, I am rodding what was a fairly thrashed-out 1928 Studebaker Dictator. I need a wiper motor and any linkage, blade, etc. Any help appreciated.
Antique Engineer Posted April 30, 2021 Author Posted April 30, 2021 New question: Does a 1925 Studebaker Standard Six model ER Sedan have a flexible joint on each end of the drive shaft? Please text of call Cheryl 256-656-9655 if an assust. 1
