Summershandy Posted October 3, 2017 Share Posted October 3, 2017 Just installed my new hood springs from CPR using the 150 flat washer technique to remove and install. Pretty slick and didn't kill myself. I'm a little disappointed though, I thought they would hold the hood fully open around forehead level or 6'. More like around face level but at least 6"-8" higher than the original springs. You can still work from the fender side the way these hoods are designed. If I need more room it's good 'ol sticky!
