buick special Posted August 4, 2017 Share Posted August 4, 2017 I was looking at my handbrake and it is in an up position and the handle is very close to the lever is this in the on or off position? can someone post a picture of the handbrake in off position then on the on position and also let me know where it starts from and what position to pull it to activate it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
61polara Posted August 4, 2017 Share Posted August 4, 2017 All the way toward the front is OFF. All the way toward the driver is on. It sounds like your parking brake is way out of adjustment.
