Guest hrs
I have what I believe to be an early Chrysler front axle - approx. '34 or '35 based on the hubcaps (if they are the original). Possible from a Airstream, Airflow or maybe even an Imperial. The mystery is that the bolt pattern appears to be 6x6". Anyone know what this axle is from? 36 D2 Coupe
Might be Airflow Imperial. But it has been a long time since I had a close look at one. Anyone else have a more recent look at one?
Alfa
Certainly looks like an Airflow axle, but probably common with other Chryslers of the period. the 6 stud wheel fixing makes me think it might be from a big car like an Imperial. A rare piece indeed. Now you just need the rest of the car to go with it!!
John Spinks
The front axle assembly and wheel are off a 1936 Chrysler Airflow Imperial, most probably model C10. This front axle and wheel assembly will fit the 1934 model CV and 1935 model C2. The front axle assembly will also fit a 1937 Chrysler Airflow model C17 however the design of the wheel is different to that which is fitted to a C17.
