Guest rkenney74@comcast.net
My parents were married in 1949 and are shown here leaving on their Honeymoon. Can anyone identify the car for me. Dad was recently returned from Italy (WWII) so I doubt it was new, although it could have been borrowed, people trusted each other a lot more back then. Lettering on the cowl above the fender says Super. Obviously a four door and the rear doors open suicide fashion. Can't very well ask them, they passed several years ago and I am trying to track down and define family photos. Any help will be appreciated. Grimy
Looks like a 1941/42/46 Studebaker to me. Someone with knowledge of trim differences for each year will hopefully chime in.

Guest rkenney74@comcast.net
You guys are great! It certainly would of been simpler if the hood ornament was in the original picture. But the cowl vent and the trim with the word Super nails it, Thanks.
