roysboystoys
This seems to be a Plymouth locking cap for 35-37 , but no name in the blank space. It was shiny in spots , but rusted in other spots Is it missing a " skin" , or it an after market piece? It has a Yale lock I want to sell it to someone that can use it , but would like a proper ID Thanks Roy
keiser31
Looks like an original missing the skin.

Ric Dean
… I don’t want to bust your bubble, but I don’t think this is a 1935-37 Plymouth Hubcap. With every 1930s Plymouth I can find the rectangle with the Plymouth Name has angled sides. I am including a few photos for comparing, the corroded one is a locking cap. keiser31
Can you post a photo of the backside of those Plymouth caps?
Ric Dean
this one is not my photo, but I know its smooth inside
roysboystoys
Ric , thanks for the input. Looks like the " skin " with the angled script would fit in the space with the rectangle depression. Looks like the rest is close enough to the top photo you posted to be Plymouth. I can't find anything any closer but Plymouth.
