Stromberg UR-2 color: raw cast or black nitro?

Gentlemen,

what color is original on a 33 UR-2 Carburator?
I have two of them, the left seems to be cast iron, the right have light rest of black on them?
same question about fuel pump.

The UR-2 is supposed to be blackened. There are DIY kit available for this.

 

As for the fuel pump I think it is originally glossy natural zinc finish as it's made from a zinc alloy. But over time it will become grey as the surface oxidizes. To restore the original finish you can zinc plate and blue/natural passivate it. Or just paint it silver.
