I have two of them, the left seems to be cast iron, the right have light rest of black on them? same question about fuel pump. Thank you! M29C3284 Posted April 23, 2017 Share Posted April 23, 2017 The UR-2 is supposed to be blackened. There are DIY kit available for this. As for the fuel pump I think it is originally glossy natural zinc finish as it's made from a zinc alloy. But over time it will become grey as the surface oxidizes. To restore the original finish you can zinc plate and blue/natural passivate it. Or just paint it silver. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
