Guest
Does anyone know where I can find the recorded music to "In My Merry Oldmobile" or better yet the actual recording of the ad?
rocketraider
Well- it's been recorded hundreds if not thousands of times by many different artists. Oldsmobile itself used many variations in its advertising thru the years. I have the 1964 Jam Handy Organization radio jingles LP that has a couple of 60s style arrangements.
Try an Internet search and download it, then burn a CD of it. It's bound to be out there. Steve Moskowitz
Rocketraider is right. It is usually pretty easy to find a 78 rpm recording as well on Ebay, sheet music also.

rocketraider
Rick, thanks for the excellent link!
In 1974, I had a 1966 442 and a girlfriend named Lucille. Always called her Seely.
I no longer have that car and that love affair is way past history, but she and I ended up working for the same company in the same plant. Guest
1974 was a good year, but I haven't seen my car and girlfriend from that year since 79. Somethings are better as a memory.
In my merry Olds started a flood of car songs in the teens and twenties. I wish someone would collect them and make a CD.
