Healeybob
I am looking for a supplier for the plastic linkage bushings on a 63 Riviera Dynalflow transmission. Anybody have any thoughts?
lrlforfun
OK Riviera People: May I also ask if 64 and 65 take the same bushings? Mitch
RivNut
Many, many moons ago, I rebushed the linkage on my 63 using a set of bushings from Mr. Gasket. The application was uni ersal for a four speed manual. They worked fine. What I don't know is a part number error or if they're still available. If they were, JEGS or Summit Racing should have them. RivNut
I found a reference to my previous post. Mr. Gasket part #11. Bushing kit for Hurst four speed shifter. They're available from the places I listed earlier and you can get them through your local jobbers as well. 6 bushings and 6 clips in the package. You may or may not need the clips. The steel bushing will wear much better than plastic and will not distort. Edited December 12, 2016 by RivNut (see edit history)
Healeybob
Thanks Rivnut. Your always a big help. Just got the Dynaflow rebuilt in Denver. $1300 with a 2 year warranty. Guaranteed not to leak.
