waltmail
After refurbishing the rear bumper, cover, and air dam, I am now tackling the front. Just removed everything and have decided to paint the grey plastic radiator grill. Anyone ever done theirs in anything but factory grey/silver? I am thinking of either flat black clear coated or semi gloss black. Thoughts?
Ronnie
I painted mine satin black and then sanded away the black from the front edges down to the silver to make them stand out. I like that better than just black.

Guest redreattaman
Ronnie, did u remove the grill for painting? and how did u sand down to the silver without damaging the silver?
Ronnie
I did remove the grill when I painted it. It has been several years since I painted it so I can't remember exactly how I went about sanding off the black. I think I used 220 grit paper by hand to remove it sanding just one edge at a time until the silver was exposed..
