james l meyer
back in early 2013 several members discussed my car with a potential buyer Joe. Fortunately, he did not purchase the car. However, i am having extreme problems with my engine. First I took it to a hack (recommended by a well meaning Buick Club member.) After an unconscionable bill It never oiled and tore itself up and two of the babbitts were redone. Unfortunately that did not work and it locked up. What I need in the worst way is a recommendation of a QUALIFIED mechanic to open this engine up and fix it so that I can put it back into the car and drive it. I have owned this car for years and i have never been able to drive it. I understand that this engine can be a strong runner once it is rebuilt correctly. Larry Schramm
in the first I failed to mention buick, so I rewrote to redirect. I live in Tyler, Texas I would say to contact Pete Phillips for help/ references. He is on the forum and you can find his contact information in the Buick Bugle.
