Oldsfan Posted September 16, 2015 Share Posted September 16, 2015 What about them? They can be troublesome. And expensive to repair. There is an inexpensive work around. Involves a hidden toggle switch. But it'll only work until there is a loss of battery current - meaning if (when) the battery goes dead and is replaced, you need to start the process over. This is great if you know it is there. Not so great if you've bought a car with the mod and don't know it's there. A more involved process involves using a resistor of the correct value.
