Robert G. Smits
I just got around to changing the oil on my 73 Centurion 455 (had not ran since 1999 when I purchased it) and noticed the oil capacity is only 4 quarts. Was this common for the 455? It makes me nervous. Are there other higher capacity oil pans that will fit? Thanks, Bob Smits
Brad Conley
4 quarts in the pan and 1 in the filter. Millions ran thousands and thousand of miles that way. I would be more concerned with having the proper zinc levels than an extra quart of oil.
