Guest LONGSHOTScc
hi there! got home my 1950 new yorker yesterday and has a little trouble starting it. ignition coil was not plugged in and I have tried every possible way to link it but get no spark, I measure the ignition coil, I have 6v on the ground and the power (+) it sits new parts in the distributor. are there any wiring diagrams available? Rusty_OToole
Check your points and the wire to the distributor. If they are correct, it may be the condenser. The coil should fire when you open and close the points, if the coil is getting electricity.
