Guest Spectre 0011
Hi,I'm new to AACA. Been to Hershey many times, but not a member. Looking for a new original heater control valve and Fuel pump for my 70 Impala, 350 with A/C, and three speed manual trans. I don't want the repro parts that are offered. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks,Chuck
Rusty_OToole
Have you tried your local Chev dealer? You may be surprised.
ted sweet
dealer part highly doubtful to look any thing like the original
Rusty_OToole
Yes but it would be genuine factory replacement part. If you insist on an identical date stamped 100 point restoration part, there are vintage parts dealers.
Guest Commodore
GM still stocks the heater control valve under part number 88875718. But this may not be the original part. It would help if we knew the part numbers. Also a original fuel pump may not work with modern gas. The new gas will attack many old fuel system parts. Rusty_OToole
If they have the heater control valve they are sure to have the fuel pump. These are not repro parts, they are genuine factory replacement parts. As close as your Chev dealer. The questioner does not specify what he wants. If he insists on OEM, NOS, date stamped, 100 point restoration material that is different. For a 70 Chev such parts can be found but be prepared to pay through the nose.
