Guest jbelanger86
I have been searching everywhere and I cant seem to figure it out. It belongs to a 13 yr old boy who is a family friend and LOVES antiques and anything old and unique. He would really like to know about this radiator cap and he cant find anything either. Any help would be great! Thanks!
rwoods
the cap is 29-29 ford, the bird is not ford.
Kimo
I am not 100% sure, but I believe it is an inexpensive aftermarket item. Some aftermarket hood ornaments have a great deal of detail and artistic merit and command high prices, but this one seems to be a bit generic as were many of the more affordable aftermarket hood ornaments of the day. sambarn
It's a bit reminiscent of a 27 Marmon Model L - The head looks very similar.
Layden B
Could even be a flag pole topper.

I own 2 cars (one from the original owner), and both with original eagle caps, only used on '27 &'28 Little 8 and model 78. Check Mascot Mania on the web. kaycee
