Guest btate
I give up on my Stromberg original carburetor #AAVB WITH AUTOMATIC CHOKE, PART NUMBER IS GE5 386869 (AEROTYPE). I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE ANOTHER CARBURETOR EXCEPT A NEW UPDATED STYLE MODEL. I WOULD GET RID OF THE ACCERLATOR START AND USE A PUSH BUTTON. MAYBE A HOLLY WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE !!! ANY SUGGESTIONS AND DO YOU HAVE A MODEL NUMBER AND WHERE I CAN PURCHASE. I GUESS CFM IS IN THE RANGE OF 250 TO 350 CFM. THANKS
Roadmaster75
BillI'm thinking a Rochester 2GC would be a candidate for your swap.Readily available, easy to rebuild, and they are now availableon the aftermarket ...Summit sells a 350CFM version & there are manyused or rebuilts on eBay.You might have to look into an adapter if needed.mike

old-tank
http://forums.aaca.org/f162/edelbrock-1406-conversion-333493.html ...will need to get a 4-barrel manifoldhttp://forums.aaca.org/f118/1950-special-modified-12v-efi-345328.html ...probably the ultimate solution I am about convinced that the crappy gas that is available and proposed will never work in a carburetor....Willie
Guest btate
Willie, I went to Affordable Fuel Injection web site and it did not list a system for a 264 nailhead. Do you know of another brand that might have an EFI for my engine?

Guest btate
I think I will pass on the EFI system. I reviewed the Holley 0-7448 but specs cannot be used with A.O.D. I called about the Rochester 2G and was told it would not work. Any other suggestions? I appreciate any help
