Anyone coming to Hershey from Flint area?

Hi All,

I am thinking about buying this 20's roadster parts car to make a speedster. (You probaby could make a good guess as to what make it is!)Would anybody with a trailer who is coming to the Hershey show from the Flint, MI area be interested in becoming part of the project? It steers and rolls. An open trailer would be fine. The time frame is totally up to you. Besides being forever in your debt, gas money is available to make your trip to Hershey and back free!

Contact Bob Sovis in Fenton, MI. He's in the book as they say. Not that Bob would take it, but he knows every person going or so it seems. He's your best source for a potential contact. Don't ask Bob to take it, he's too nice and he's done his share as they say at his age.

Thank you very much for the referral. I understand what you are saying, and I will be sure to let Bob know I am in no way asking him to take it.

Besides getting the car delivered, my hope is that $500 or so in gas money will help someone else offset the cost of the trip or perhaps wouldn't have gone otherwise. I believe it is one of those very rare, real live, honest-to-goodness, win-win situations. (I guess it's a win-win-win if I pay the seller what he wants!)

Thanks for everyone's interest and encouragement. Larry Schramm was extremely kind to offer to haul it Hershey for me, but when I called the seller back it was sold.
