Guest webdoofus Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 Now that the 1929 Dictator is starting I know I'll be needing some side rearview mirrors to be able to navigate her. What is available or been used by others to deal with getting a good side-mount mirror on each side of the car? It is a GL 4-door. Any help appreciated. bifda Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 I used some Model A Ford mirrors that you take out a hinge pin and replace with a mirror and extended pin. starlightcoupe Posted September 20, 2013 Share Posted September 20, 2013 I bought your generic Model A repops from JC Witney. The fit on the doors of my Rockne was too tight to mount them directly so, I fabricated stainless brackets that fit over the hinge and setscrewed the mirrors to the stainless. Judges at the Studebaker International Meet Meet deducted no points for my safety addition. AACA judges may see it differently. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
