If the glass has a frame around it that covers the front edge of the glass, it is a day-night. And there should me a small slot on the bottom edge where the plastic tab would be to tilt the mirror back and forth. If not there you have a plane mirror and no luck to get it apart and resilvered. Good news is the day-night can be taken apart and resilvered. I have had mine done, an easy job. Look out for the right one, they were a common option.
