Guest Casper Friedrich
Take a look at this picture:http://www.stockholmskallan.se/PostFiles/SMF/SSMDIA015585S.jpgIsn't that a late 1930s Buick with a convertible body by Gustaf Nordberg in Stockholm lurking behind the little stone building? The place today:https://maps.google.fi/maps?q=Norr+M%C3%A4larstrand+66-68+stockholm&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x465f77d708d5ff9d:0x2f6bb5330be16858,Norr+M%C3%A4larstrand+66,+112+35+Stockholm,+Sverige&gl=fi&ei=_h8NUsP-IKWh4gSx44CgBw&ved=0CC4Q8gEwAA
Bleach
I don't believe it is. It looks very much like a 50's Mercedes 300 cabriolet. The top trim appears very distinctive of what Mercedes used in that era. I've also seen the same unusual reflection in the rear fender in the photo of another 300 series Mercedes on the web. nzcarnerd
On the subject of European-bodied Buicks, any thoughts on this one? - IMCDb.org: Buick unknown in "Quand tu liras cette lettre, 1953"I will post it in the pre war Buick section as well. TG57Roadmaster
Definitely a '50's M-B 300 S (or SC) Cabrio. This one was taken at the Veterama Show in Mannheim, Germany in 2009, a restoration shop's example that wasn't quite finished for show time. It's missing the rear chrome band at the base of the top, and the horizontal strips on its grille. But still, what a way to make an entrance at any event!TG
