Barney Eaton Posted August 2, 2013 Share Posted August 2, 2013 I can rebuild the antenna using a steel cable in place of the original plastic part. It is also possible that the motor runs but there are 4 gears that reduce the speed and amplify the torque. These gears can strip and the motor will run. You cannot pinpoint the problem until you disassemble the unit. The picture below shows the small gear stripped on both of the middle gears.
