69 Buick Electra power antenna

A friend has a 69 Buick Limited and is looking for a replacement cable for his power antenna. The motor is fine but the cable has broken. Anyone know a source for this part?

I can rebuild the antenna using a steel cable in place of the original plastic part.

It is also possible that the motor runs but there are 4 gears that reduce the speed and amplify the torque. These gears can strip and the motor will run. You cannot pinpoint the problem until you disassemble the unit. The picture below shows the small gear stripped on both of the middle gears.
