1942 46S Ground Strap

Could someone please give me the correct location as to where the battery ground strap/cable is attached to the motor/frame? Also the approximate length and should it be a braided strap or cable.

It should be a braided strap and have enough sag to allow for engine vibration and movement.

Others may have photos of attachment location, but any bolt will do.

If you connect it to one of the bolts that holds the starter in place, your starter will usually run better. The guy that re-built my starter seems to be quite convinced of that, and it makes some sense. My engine does crank better with it there.
