Interesting photo of a car and a ship

This photo was taken December 1929 in Gloucester, Mass. On the back side of the photo is written that the ship behind the car is called Illyria and it is owed by millionare Grane. Mr. Hollander sailed with this ship round the world. Also the car seem quite fancy and powerfull. Could i be Jordan? Any information about the ship and the car is greatly appreciated.

The man standing in front of the car is Finnish immigrant who lived in Massachusetts.

An interesting roadster that I have not yet identified. My guess is that it dates from around 1919-22. I wondered if the car might be a Paige. It looks to be a medium size six with a wheelbase around 115".

Another look and I think it might be a 1918-9 Studebaker Model EH Light Six - the model that was renamed the Special Six when the new EJ Light Six was introduced later in 1919. The wheelbase of the EH is 119".

Thank you for your kind replies. The man used to own two Model Ts and one Dodge. On the back of this photo he wrote that this is the car he almost killed himself. I guess Studebaker was quite powerfull after Fords.
