Guest breather
Has anyone ever done a bypass of the VATS system on a Reatta?? I have a 1990 Reatta and can't figure out which conduit has the two wires,(white or yellow) to which the correct size resistors get connected to. I have my resistor pack ready to connect. Just need to know where. I have already cut an Orange conduit as instructed, but if was only a single wire. Had to splice back together. I am 99% sure that it is the Security system. Engine does not turn over, security light stays on, Had a new key with resistor chip cut, replaced the Crank sensor and cam sensor. Starter is also new. No start synptoms only happened periodically, Maybe once per month. Then more often, and finally hardly at all.Help Me if you can!!Thanks, breather
MCHinson
I don't know if there is any difference between the different year Reattas, but maybe this previous discussion will help.http://forums.aaca.org/f116/how-do-you-disable-vats-1991-a-336688.html
